Applications Available for Geriatric Education Program

The Virginia Geriatric Education Center (VGEC), a consortium of Virginia Commonwealth University, the University of Virginia, and the Eastern Virginia Medical School, is accepting applications for its Faculty Development Program (FDP) through September 4. 

The FDP is a 200-hour program that meets once a month from September through June to provide faculty development opportunities in geriatrics and gerontology for faculty affiliated with institutions of higher education in Virginia. Eligible participants must have an academic appointment, adjunct or tenure-track.

Every year, the FDP program attracts colleagues affiliated with dentistry, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy. The next Faculty Development Program (FDP) begins September 18.
