Supreme Court Ruling on ACA: What Does This Mean for You?

On June 25, the U.S. Supreme Court released its decision in King v. Burwell, upholding the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) tax-credit subsidies for individuals who purchase insurance through either a state-run or the federally-run health insurance exchange.  Virginia opted against establishing its own exchange.

Last week the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) provided a detailed overview of the decision and its impact on long term care and assisted living providers.  AHCA/NCAL advises that members must continue to comply generally with the ACA requirements.  Read the full AHCA/NCAL alert, which includes valuable information on compliance requirements for employers, by clicking here
