Register Now for the Virginia Health Care Association's National and State Issues Forum on March 25, 2014 at the Omni Richmond

The forum is highlighted by national and state experts on health care delivery and will provide state and federal perspectives on the many issues facing the long term care profession.  Keynote speakers include American Health Care Association President Mark Parkinson, Virginia Secretary of Health & Human Resources, William Hazel, M.D and the National Center for Assistant Living President, Dave Kyllo.  
Forum participates will also hear from VHCA staff on the outcome of the 2015 Legislative Session, AHCA staff will provide an overview of their Medicare Payment Reform Initiative and nationally recognized professor and political expert Robert Holsworth, PhD will discuss the ever changing political environment in the Commonwealth.  The forum will conclude with a panel discussion of VHCA staff and members on the Commonwealth Coordinated Care program.  The panelists will provide insight from the field on problems encountered, solutions established, and future opportunities under managed care, followed by open question/answer from the group.
