Congratulations to the 2014 Regirer Nurse Scholarship Recipients

So far this year, the Commonwealth Long Term Care Foundation has awarded $54,000 in Regirer Nursing Scholarships to 36 recipients employed in Virginia long term care facilities.  There are additional applicants pending acceptance into a nursing program.  Each awardee will receive $1,500 toward the cost of their nursing education.  To receive the award, each recipient completed an extensive application, was personally interviewed by a member of the Foundation’s Nurse Scholarship Committee, and agreed to work in a member long term care facility after graduation.

Since the inception of the Commonwealth Long Term Care Foundation in 1997, it has awarded Regirer Nursing Scholarships totaling $515,975 to 379 scholarship recipients. The Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific or educational purposes.
