AHCA to Present ACA Employer Healthcare Coverage Expansion Webinar

The American Health Care Association (AHCA) will be presenting a member-wide webinar on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Employer Healthcare Coverage Expansion next Friday, July 20 from 2:00pm – 3:30pm Eastern time.  

Now that the US Supreme Court has established that most of the ACA is constitutional, employers must plan for the future and the new employer healthcare coverage expansion requirements.  While the most significant and potentially costly requirements become effective beginning in 2014, several provisions take effect much earlier.  This free AHCA/NCAL webinar with speaker, Nancy Taylor (AHCA/NCAL Legislative Counsel), will help AHCA/NCAL members to understand the basics and learn more about what they have to do, step-by-step, to be in compliance.  Specifically, participants will comprehend the ACA healthcare coverage expansion requirements including the employer and individual mandates; learn about employer obligations effective in 2012-13, understand the development and status of where LTC providers can get health insurance coverage for their employees; and recognize the practical solutions and how LTC providers can prepare for the future.
