2012 State of Seniors Housing Survey

Each year the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA) conducts an annual study of the senior housing industry titled “The State of Seniors Housing.”  This annual study is supported by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), the National Investment Center and other assisted living trade associations.  When published, the report will contain property, financial performance and cost data about the independent living, assisted living, dementia care and CCRC sectors not collected by any other source.  The memo from ASHA and survey include more details about the survey used to collect the data.  Members who own/operate for profit or not-for-profit independent living, assisted living, dementia care, SNFs or CCRCs are being encouraged by NCAL to participate in the study.   Please submit your data by March 15.  All organizations that complete surveys will receive a complimentary copy of The State of Seniors Housing 2012, which compiles the survey results for comparisons to your own operations.   The State of Seniors Housing data will be handled with complete confidentiality and the results presented only in the aggregate.

Please submit completed surveys to colleen.blumenthal@healthtrust.com by close of business Thursday, March 15, 2012.  Questions about the survey should be directed to Colleen Blumenthal of HealthTrust, LLC at 941.363.7502 or by email at colleen.blumenthal@healthtrust.com.
