Managed Care Education Program Scheduled for December 3rd in Williamsburg

With the start of the Commonwealth Coordinated Care (CCC) program, the operational and financial landscapes are changing for nursing facilities in Virginia.  Whether these changes will be positive depends largely on each organization’s strategic preparation, tactical implementation and self-monitoring.

This leadership program targets the elements that will impact success, starting with the facility’s alignment with the objectives of its health plan partners.  Lou Ann Brubaker, President of Brubaker Consulting, will review lessons learned from other types of endeavors that, by necessity, caused re-inventing of much of their approach to strategy and operations in order to thrive in an evolving environment and how these lessons can be applied to the delivery of post-acute and long term care services.

Aspects of the American Health Care Association’s (AHCA) Quality Initiative also will be highlighted within the program. Using a combination of lecture, individual and small group learning opportunities, worksheets and discussion, participants will be motivated to examine new and innovative approaches to meeting the challenges presented by the Dual Eligible demonstration.

This program will provide vital information to providers to prepare them for operating in a managed care world.

Retooling for Success - Leading & Collaborating in the Coming Managed Care Environment education program is scheduled for December 3rd at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Williamsburg.  REGISTER TODAY.
