"We are the Solution" Advocacy Campaign Launched on Monday

Early this week, the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) launched a new advocacy campaign entitled We are the Solution.  The campaign will address Congress’s budgetary challenges, and offer substantive options through detailed quality, cost, jobs, and policy solutions.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, approximately 3.2 million individuals are employed in nursing and residential care facilities.  A 1% cut translates into 16,000 jobs.

The We are the Solution advocacy campaign will offer realistic options to simply cutting the long term and post-acute care sector. The campaign will feature advertisements in multiple media including print (beginning next week), television (in December), and radio (beginning in late September).
