REGISTRATION NOW AVAILABLE - Effective Nurse Leaders Education Program Scheduled for May 30th

Smiling Nurse Carrying Medical Charts January 30, 2004

Today more than ever, it is crucial that the nurse manager possess the skills to lead the team to successful quality outcomes, compliance with regulations AND a positive work environment.  As a leader in the nursing department, what does that role look like? Balancing all of the leadership activities, people and resources requires knowledge and confidence. In this full-day program DONs and Nurse Managers will discover how to effectively work with everyone in the facility, from Administrators to Medical Directors.

In addition to nurses learning how to be effective managers while keeping their sanity, Administrators will gain an appreciation of the various roles of their nurse leaders.  The program will heighten attendees’ awareness of the multiple responsibilities of the nurse manager, including scope, coaching, leading and mentoring as well as handling staff relations. This interactive and “hands on” training will highlight real-life examples and solutions that can be applied immediately within your facility.

Effective Nurse Leaders - Roles and Responsibilities of the DON/Nurse Manager is scheduled for May 30th at the Holiday Inn Koger Conference Center in Richmond.  More information and online registration available here.
